What is the
in-climate summit?

The Indiana Climate Summit is the only gathering of professionals, producers, and government officials involved in midwest's food and energy industries and climate. This event aims to educate, inform, and create a dialogue with the idea of Ag as the Solution. This is an exciting, first-of-its-kind, Second Annual, event, with the goal of using all of the above strategies to develop a practical dialogue on this confusing topic.

The 6 Pillars of the Climate-Agriculture Conversation

  • Carbon Markets and Carbon Sequestration

  • Sustainability and Conservation

  • Renewable Energy and Energy Transition

  • Advanced Biofuels and Renewable Fuels

  • Green Finance and Climate Smart Funding

  • Consumer Pressures and Public Perception

JUNE 26 - PRE-EVENT EXCLUSIVE

Prime47 - Downtown Indianapolis

The role of women in professional and production agriculture has shifted rapidly in a generation’s time. The era when most women began their careers as the only female in the room (or in the field) has evolved to today where many major agricultural colleges graduate more females than men. While women today occupy leading roles across the industry, Women in Agriculture Sustainability is a new footprint. IN-Climate is excited to be at the forefront of the climate sustainability discussion by building collaborative and educational opportunities across the sector. Now, we are excited to expand our groundbreaking collaborations to include a defined outreach to women, especially to address the unique challenges of stepping into sustainability leadership positions where, in most cases, the role is entirely new.

The IN-CLIMATE Women in Sustainability event is the first-of-its kind program that provides a forum for connecting and educating women to improve their impact and knowledge. Our event  will be hosted by a flagship sponsor and includes a keynote speaker, dinner, and networking reception. Additionally, this event launches an inaugural series of programming and networking opportunities for women ag-sustainability leaders going forward. Sign up today as a conference add-on to your full Ag as the Solution Summit ticket or attend just this special pre-event. Tickets are limited, so add yours today. The time is now, to shape the future of the food and energy industries, and as women in ag sustainability are leading at the front lines. Come and meet your peers!

Working together for a sustainable future

The climate conversation is happening, it’s growing. More companies are making sustainable practices a requirement, so why isn’t ag and energy leading this? We are truly what makes the world run, we rely on food and power to survive and we have already started implementing sustainability measures. Farms are increasing cover crops, renewable energy access is growing and so are biofuels and ethanol. These sectors of our industry are committing to be a part of the climate conversation, will you be next? Have you considered the climate conversation? The time to get in is now.
